To celebrate the long-standing relationship between Subway and American football, we created a fanbase-driven campaign about former NFL players Coach Esume and Björn Werner. Taking their real-life rivalry to a new level, we had them not only create their own signature subs, but also compete against each other in a battle of the freshest. The digitally driven campaign was rolled out on, where the audience could help their hero win the battle of the freshest.
